EEKOS was established in 2010 and is led by Director and Founder Michael Spartalis, a registered architect and registered builder. Michael oversees all project work and is joined by Jen Vos (Interior Design Lead) and Anthony Hines (Project Design and Documentation Lead). Together the team delivers architectural, interior and placemaking projects across residential, commercial, aged care, heritage and hospitality sectors.

Michael founded EEKOS in 2010 and also leads CONSPAR, a structural repair and waterproofing specialist established in 1969. The dual practice gives him over 20 years of combined experience in both design and construction remediation across Western Australia.

His project experience spans heritage hospitality (Rose Hotel Bunbury, Freo.Social), aged care upgrades (Hellenic Community, Dianella), boutique residential (Mary Street, Highgate) and concrete and waterproofing remediation across strata and commercial buildings.

Interior Design Lead Bachelor of Arts (Interior Architecture) (Hons) — Curtin University
Jen brings over 15 years of interior design experience to EEKOS, with a focus on spatial flow, materiality and the relationship between built form and end user.

She is currently leading interior design for the Hellenic Community Aged Care upgrades in Dianella and the Mary Street residence in Highgate.

Project Design and Documentation Lead Registered Architect
Anthony is an award-winning architect with over 15 years of experience across high-end residential, specialist disability accommodation (SDA) and innovative housing models.
​
He most recently led the detailed documentation work on the Mary Street Residence, and currently leads EEKOS's SDA and compact housing portfolio.
